You might be aware of the fact that the trains do not stop at all the stations. For example, trains like Rajdhani Express, Shatabdi Express, and other Superfast trains skip regional stations and hence they only stop at major junctions. In such a case, while planning your journey, you might want to book a train which stops at a specific station.
This is possible and the process to check the details of the train between two stations is similar to checking the availability of the tickets. If you want to know about the process to check the details of the train between specific stations then follow the process as listed below.
Steps to Check the Details of the Train between Specific Stations
- To check the details, you need to visit the homepage of the IRCTC Portal. The link of the IRCTC Next Gen Portal is same as before and you can visit the portal via irctc.co.in
- There is no need to login to the portal and you can proceed by entering the specific stations in From and To space. Enter any random date and select Flexible with Dates option before clicking on Find Trains Button.
- This will now redirect you to a new page which will display the trains between those stations. You can now check the route of the train to ensure that the train stops at the desired station.
- If the page doesn’t reflect any result and if the error message displays as Trains not Available then you must check the trains between any alternative stations.
This is how you can check the details of the train between two specific stations and in case of any query, you can call IRCTC on the helpline number 139.
